Through drawing, carving and printing 5 linocut blocks, a still life of a skull and candles were created. Both the sketchy hatching style and the swirling lines of smoke highlight the beauty of the medium. The main feature of the skull as well as the candles and harsh lighting invoke a moody and dramatic atmosphere.

Inspired by old gothic castles of old, through the photo emulsion process of screenprinting, an intimate illustration of Dracula's Castle is depicted. Using bold colors with the bright red and cool purple contrasted against the black and almost white, an eerie and haunted atmosphere is created. This piece was created in tribute to my Curse of Strahd D&D group that has been running for over a year and a half <3
